The young, tender stems of the garlic plant, garlic shoots have a delicate garlic aroma and flavor. They can be used in much the same way as scallions or chives, adding a subtle garlicky note to dishes. Garlic shoots are a good source of vitamins A and C, as well as antioxidants.
